Marlene Revisited (Orient Explosion), 2020

The ‘Marlene Revisited’ pieces are a continuation of a series I started way back in 1987 and I got in my first group show with them, run by a city newspaper for gifted young artists. I revisited Marlene 23 years later in 2010 as a lark to see if I could add to the series by making works digitally (and if they'd be any good). I made 3 new ones and filed them away, forgotten. I had been on Rarible for 3 weeks at that point, just throwing things to see what stuck and I found them in my archive passing and uploaded one for sale, not expecting much. The response was surprising, it was the first edition of Artwork I'd offered that sold out.
