Nocturne (Water Nymph version), 2020

This freaky gothic waterbaby is reminiscent of Flemish Primitives like Jan van Eyck; but was also probably made during the period I was watching ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor.’ She wants to drag you down to the watery depths of her lake, and drink the air out of you; when she exhales it, the bubbles turn into pearls. Sucking your soul out would probably be simpler, but she’s dramatic and baroque, as if you can’t tell by looking at her. Hi res Art unlocks for download upon purchase.
