The word heat (hot + dead) means a match that is currently used by the people of Lorestan and Kurdistan. Kermit or heat made from the root means to take warm (Gar + M = companion) and dead, which is the suffix of place and place. The word heat in Sanskrit is घर्मित gharmita and means stand to heat. There are some who suggest that the word match is derived from the Akkadian word Coprito.
In the past, matches were also made from thin pieces of wood or hemp wood, one or two ends of which were dipped in molten sulfur, which caught fire when it came in contact with the burning material.
