“Portrait of a mountain” is based on the individuality of every mountain. As I traveled amidst these eternal structures of
nature, I would find myself gazing at them endlessly and feel that the mountain is within me as if we are one. I would
try to decode and ask myself, “Why do I look at a mountain? Why do I feel this sense of oneness?”. My questions would
lead to various answers and some of these answers are reflected in these photographs I made. These mountains
touched me in a particular moment that made me pick my camera and document their character.
On a Spiritual level, mountains represent ‘Eternality’ for me. They were created millions of years ago and have watched
