In my earlier days of mountain exploration with my friends, we would always play a game called ‘Name the mountain’.
In this game we would pick any mountain that comes our way and give it a name based on what we feel about it, its
texture and shape. This photo series has its roots attached to this game.
“Portrait of a mountain” is based on individuality of every mountain. As I travelled amidst these eternal structures of
nature, I would find myself gazing at them endlessly and feel that the mountain is within me as if we are one. I would
try to decode and ask myself, “Why do I look at a mountain? Why do I feel this sense of oneness?”. My questions would
