The tree of life in the carpet of ancient Iran
One of the sacred symbols associated with the tree of life in Iranian thought is the gawkarn, a tree whose freshness guarantees the continuity of life in the universe. When Ahuramazda creates the gokran tree in the great sea, the devil sends tadpoles to uproot the tree and destroy life on earth. But around the root of the tree, in the depths of your subculture, there are two houseworms that constantly rotate around the root and, as in the chopped menu, keep the toad and other devilish animals away from it.
