YEARS OF DECADENCE Today in the world of social networks it is very popular among digital non-natives (and not only) to use quotes from artists or philosophers of the past to comment on uninteresting situations in their lives. This need to use other people's phrases to fill a gap in one's thinking makes me think of a new era of decay, with an absence of creativity and awareness. This is why I decided to photograph some degraded statues of the nineteenth century and to use some verses of French decadent poets in a continuous endless loop, as in Dante's limbo.
