Basil Gentleman (born 21st July 1986, Quimperlé, France) is an established Franco-British contemporary artist whose work has been described as "Powerful" by Andrew Cockburn of Harper's Magazine.
His artworks have been exhibited throughout the U.K and France and include permanent displays in famous institutions such as the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
The main body of his work consists of collage art or "paper cut-outs" (for his skill in this field, he has been compared to "a young Henri Matisse").
His other work is wide-ranging in scope, covering paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography and digital art.
