Jerusalem, The Holy One

#04 - Jerusalem, The Holy One Jerusaelm, the Holy One. This is a painting I made showing my love for the city which was my home when I painted it. Old Jerusalem is placed in the center, surrounded by two important hills on both sides: on the left is Mount Zion, on the right is Mount of Olives. In the Old City in the center are symbols of the three monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, coexisting peacefully. In the forefront three trees cohabitate: fig tree, pomegranate tree, and an olive tree - all are symbols of the Holy Land.
