On May 31, 2020 protestors took to the streets of Boston, Massachusetts to express their rage surrounding the events that had occurred a week prior in Minneapolis, Minnesota; events which led to the tragic and untimely murder of George Floyd.
This photograph was taken on June 1, 2020 during a walk around the most affected areas in the Bay Bay and Financial District neighborhoods of Boston. Buildings were boarded up, and entire storefronts smashed out; debris of all kinds littered the streets, while sullen shop owners worked slowly to clean-up what they could.
