This started off as a project for a grant proposal. I designed a Gatling gun to use the FN 5.7mm round. The real life size of the gun is about as big around as a 12oz RedBull can. The body is without the barrels is just shy of 8 inches long and was designed with a quick release barrel swap from 16 inch to 10 inch barrels. It was designed to be small and the primary purpose was to offer suppressing fire in urban combat scenarios. The war in Iraq gave me this idea, The ammo can pictured could potentially hold over two thousand rounds. I also designed the Foster Miller TALON with a few minor changes, using their patent info for dimensions, etc.
