Hachimaki Shiba Bond

This is a novelty bearer bond and the last artwork featuring the Hachimaki Shiba. I wanted to explore different techniques that traditional artists used to create visual monetary notes hatching, crosshatching, pointillism. I always found the evolution of currency to be fascinating. I emulated classical outlawed bearer bonds (outlawed in 1984) because I wanted to create something visually pleasing while trying to make it look valuable.
