in Hinduism, when the gods take human form, the human is considered their avatar. the metaphysical is transformed into the physical. with my avatar, the reverse occurs... my physical form is transformed into the metaphysical. into something much more abstract. into something that exists in multiple copies and locations but is always traceable to one source: the creator. own a copy of the creator.
