Pluto

A dwarf planet, a Trans-Neptunian object and a Ninth planet from the Sun for 60 years. Its status as a planet was questioned following the discovery of several other objects in the Kuiper belt, but it is still a planet in our hearts. Pluto, named after a Roman god of the underworld, makes a binary system with its largest moon - Charon, the "ferryman of the dead". Beyond the two lies endless lifeless dead space of the Interstellar medium for many light-years ahead.
