In 2008, I created 'The All of Everything', a complex yet arbitrary visual interpretation of being, translated through the word search algorithm of Google Image.
From the economic meltdown to the Beijing Olympics, the search topics acknowledged the immediate events and social context of 2008, whilst unconsciously influenced by my experience of life before. Despite one's intentions, the work reveals that more often than not, the distraction and seduction of the trivial prevails, exposing the pitfalls of both oneself and the internet.
