A gray trampoline falls short on its way to the landscape. It does not become a bridge and fails in its attempt to unite the simplicity of our efforts and our understanding with the complexity, at times indecipherable, of nature.
In the center of the trampoline we find an object. A simple representative of our only possible response to the immense silence of the world: culture and technology. What we are, versus what we cannot access. A useless and overwhelmed creation, insufficient to counteract the unfathomable and untimely mysteries of nature.
