Black Flash

Black Flash is a song that accepts and expresses some of the shadow of my subconscious mind. I tied my expression to the dark themes of a popular anime called Jujutsu Kaisen. The title “Black Flash” is a reference to a move and phenomenon that activates a flow state within characters in the anime. To directly quote the anime “sorcerers temporarily enter a state athletes call the zone. There is a sense of omnipotence like everything else revolves around them.” When in this zone their source of spiritual power “cursed energy” is immensely increased.
