Neonangel of Munich

The angel of peace or „Friedensengel“ in neon art combines tradition, history and modernity which represents the city of Munich. The chosen colours represent the state of Bavaria and the city colours of Munich. The original figure was made of leaf-gilded bronze and is a joint work of the artists Heinrich Düll, Georg Pezold and Max Heilmaier and ore casted by Ferdinand von Miller. In her right hand she holds the olive branch as a symbol of peace, in her left hand a palladion standing on a sphere. On her head she wears a crown as a symbol of the first Munich NFT art edition.
