asterisk finally meets a human for the first time, laying against the rocks near the entrance to the abyss. the man has been searching for the abyss for years and has finally come across it and is resting before he begins his journey down. asterisk, usually someone who can watch from high up above has decided to descend to speak to the man and learn about him and his journey. this is the first time the abyss gets mentioned to asterisk and he begins to get excited hearing the stories told by the man. one day asterisk will venture down into the abyss to meet the stories that have been told to him.
