This image was not featured in the published version of The Endings, but was an outtake we loved from the story “What Day Is It? It’s Today," starring Amanda Brugel. A mother takes a moment alone in a big house. With her husband working late again, and the knowledge that their marriage is failing, she feels the importance of keeping life fun while being all-present to her kids, who are her greatest treasures and first priority. The title of this story is from their favourite bedtime book.
