Thrungort

Thrungort was once a shy and naïve boy named Toshido Mitsuri. He spent his time exploring the forest near his village, until one day he was tricked into consuming toxic fungi by a cohort of mischievous faeries. The toxins consumed his body and soul, gradually turning his flesh into a chitinous exoskeleton and his mind into a cesspool of depravity. Today, he roams the forest with no purpose other than to terrorize visitors who are unfortunate enough to cross his path. Some villagers say that remnants of shy Toshido’s soul are trapped deep within the creature’s psyche. Others say that the boy they once knew is lost forever.
