The Way You Feel

Discovering and learning to celebrate part of your identity can be a religious experience. Accepting and growing into my Transness over the last six years has been an intense journey punctuated with beautiful moments of Euphoria; each one telling me that I am on the right track... In this work the viewer goes on a journey of visual discovery where I work through a tumultuous mess on my face to reveal a work of art. I wrote this music when I first felt what it was like to embrace my identity. I could not articulate the feeling - only translate it to music. This work is a manifestation of that deepest happiness that comes from embracing one's self, this is my euphoria
