Arrays of Dani tribesmen and women singing their traditional songs during the Baliem Festival (West Papua, Indonesia). The Dani are an ethnic group found only in 1938 and living in the central highlands of West Papua (Indonesia). They remained until then technically still in the stone age. Yearly, Dani people return to play the customs of war during the annual Baliem Festival dedicated to the traditional cultures of the valley. During the event they stage tribal fights, traditional dances, shooting competitions of the spear and racing pigs.
