Tree Lines

The continuation of life on Earth depends critically on trees. In addition to producing the oxygen we breathe and purifying the water we drink, they also serve as home for a staggering array of plant and animal species. The Earth would seem drastically different if there were no trees. Many plant and animal species would become extinct, the water supply would become less plentiful, and the air would be much less pure.
