This Pixel Art piece is about when I was around four years old. I remember my dad telling me there was an air balloon festival happening in my hometown. He couldn't take me to the event, though I didn't know why. Maybe he couldn't afford it, or maybe he was just busy working at home.
Suddenly, one of the hot air balloons appeared in front of us. I remember watching it crossing the skies, very slowly, while he explained masterfully how balloons like those worked. When I think of this memory, I immediately think of '99 Red Balloons' by Nena. This picture gives me a very soothing sensation of sharing that space with dad.
