Sheeps Crossing captured during Réttir in Gilsfjörður. A two week period every fall season regional farmers and their hands trek into the mountain terrain and round up their flocks from summer grazing and guide them back to the barns for lamb weighing and winter.
September 2019 I was awarded the opportunity to live in Iceland for one month as an Artist in Residence at a small working farmhouse in the remote Westfjords. I spent my time photographing the regions landscape and GilsfjordurArts farm owner's winter Shepherding and Mussel processing operations.
