Salt and Mountain under Magnificent Skies. September 2019 I was awarded the opportunity to live in Iceland for one month as an Artist in Residence at a small working farmhouse in the remote Westfjords. I spent my time photographing the regions landscape and GilsfjordurArts farm owner's winter sheepherding and mussel processing operations. Salt is the first image introducing the larger body of work Geothermal Island, GEOIS, and is part of the traveling exhibition Westfjords Wandering.
