Perhaps one of Bill Murray's most endearing stories transpired in Scotland in 2006.
After a charity golf tournament at St Andrews Links, Bill was having drinks at the fashionable Ma Bells bar with the golfer, Ian Poulter, when Lykke Stavnef, a 22-year-old Norwegian, asked Bill to a nearby gathering.
To her surprise, Bill agreed. "Nobody could believe it when I arrived at the party with Bill Murray," said Stavnef. "He was just like his character in 'Lost in Translation.'"
