Chris Kinsel photographed by Bart Patitucci in Haleakalā, Maui Chris has been a stock trader for 10 years. He got into crypto in 2017. He told my friend Jesse about NFTs in February of 2020 who then told me. I didn’t connect with or meet him until June, but since then we chat almost daily about NFTs and collecting. For our portrait session I shot a half a roll of 35mm film at his house of his trading setup + his favorite NFTs. Then, I rewound the roll and we went up to Halekalā and shot portraits as we hiked, creating double exposures.  It was a risky move considering this was my first time shooting double exposures and I had no idea if the two images would line up.
