In both Christianity and Islam, the divine garden is a sacred motif: all the senses are stimulated and there is order and peace. But what if you can't visit the garden? What if the gates to heaven remain closed to you?! How can someone inside enjoy all that splendor if they know that the gate remains closed to others? It is a dilemma of inclusivity and exclusivity.
