Behind The Door

Durdle Door is an iconic piece of Jurassic Coast landscape which has been formed over millions of years. This natural arch is lucky to be beneath dark skies making it a worthwhile pilgrimage in the Dorset countryside so to capture it beneath the stars. I chose to shoot this location with a slightly narrower perspective therefore hiding part of the Milkyway Galactic Core behind the arch which provides a perspective of depth.
