The physician and hospital partners of the Passport Health Plan agreed to pay restitution to Passport in settlement of allegations of improper and illegal cash transfers made to them from Passport. Passport is the vendor that operates the healthcare services for Medicaid in the Greater Louisville area. The investor-members also made up the board and it is alleged they paid themselves the money because Passport would not have been granted a rate increase by the state with the 30.5 million on its books.
