Backcountry III - Fear

The darkness once again envelopes you. Primeval instincts of fight or flight overwhelm your senses and it is fear driving them. With your eyes unable to provide a clear picture of your surroundings, it is your brain that pieces together what the environment around you looks like. Walls of rock look more sheer than they did moments before. Cornices look more dangerous, ready to collapse. The way is not clear. But again, light is trying to penetrate the darkness.
