Decolife and the Dragon

This artwork is a 2022 revival of the classic 'George and the Dragon' subject that has captivated artists, religious people, spiritual leaders, royal families and much more in the past 1500 years. The 'Decolife and the Dragon' are self-portraits suggesting that there is no good nor evil, we are both and live in a constant duality of who's winning the battle. At the same time we try to base who we are on external principles and rules that most of the time seem distorted and faded away. A great representation of the inner battles we all have during the 'complicated' times we are living.
