Portuguese concept artist Freak Jesus originally cultivated his digital art practice in parallel with a professional career in engineering, segueing into graphic design as a way of tapping into his creative abilities. Inspired by the punk rock scene in his native city of Porto, Northern Portugal, his digital collages draw from vintage photographic elements, superimposed with abstract, painterly layers of colour and graffiti, as well as animation and sound design.
