Chibok Girl

In 2014, Boko Haram, an extremist terrorist organization, kidnapped 276 female students in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. The sad incident sparked a global outcry, leading to the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls. Almost seven years after, as many as 112 of the girls are still missing. This moving artwork is a tribute to the girls -- the ones who have been found and the ones who are yet to be found.
