Absense of light is a visual representation of my creative process using the concept of dark frames in long exposure photography to explore the interplay between darkness and light.
My work is essentially about light, so almost each piece of mine has a dark frame, which I use to abstract the noise. These dark frames are empty spaces, pure noise, a canvas upon which I can create and shape the light.
Before light, we have darkness, and all my process begins here, a Universe of noise inside my mind, which turns into sketches and drafts. From these sketches, it becomes a place that already exists but needs to be find, and when I finally find these places, everything lights up.
