They’re bidding to get “The Raft of the Medusa”, a romantic Masterpiece from Théodore Géricault. Le Radeau de la Méduse - original title - created a huge scandal at the time of his creation, getting controversial opinions since its rough facts connected to cannibalism, homicide and abomination of nature.
