Where(After) is a work delving deep into the concept of freedom. Created as part of a trilogy, along with “The Swing” and “(Where)After, it provides an alternative perspective on the same story, drawing the viewer into a world of contemplation and reflection.
At the heart of this artwork lies the realization that true freedom cannot be contained or tamed by society. It must remain wild, free from constraints of judgment and expectation. To convey my message I use the lost pink heel as a symbol, deliberately left to wander in the forest, a poignant reminder that freedom can never be fully realized if it is held back by norms of the past and the unrealistic projections of society.
