Laundry Day, The Pinecraft Community (2022)

"Laundry Day" was taken on April 5th, 2022 in Sarasota, FL. Pinecraft is a thriving eight-block community of Amish and Mennonite residences located in Sarasota, FL. Although the use of electricity makes them stand out from the typical Amish, you'll still see the residents hanging clothes to dry on a wire, passing the time with shuffleboard competitions, and riding three-wheel bikes eight miles long to the beach. I've always been intrigued with Pinecraft and the cinematic scenes inhabiting it. Since PBS's "The Amish" and other fad documentaries broadcasted the area, I quietly admire the beauty using my long lens and a quick eye. Edition 1:1
