Stranger Things

Hunting supercells across the Plains can feel a lot like being swept into The Upside Down. As the skies darken- and ominous clouds unfurl across the horizon- you sometimes wonder if what you're witnessing is real. A storm's energy and personality can produce beautiful and bizarre structures in the sky. As you stand beneath the churn and twist of clouds and wind everything is so very alive. On this day in Kansas, as an eerie mammatus display erupted over this truck's graveyard, life certainly became a little stranger.
