Osmosis

The canvas is a boundary meant to be broken. As a makeup artist, that canvas is the human body. In "Osmosis" my painting extends beyond the flesh and flows freely across two platform boots and back onto my face. This work is a study in organic motion - painting elastic shapes that stretch across the subject - meeting and interacting with one another in organic forms. Each time a form collides with another there is a preservation of energy - flowing, moving and radiating equally in every direction.
