~field_shift~ 1/1 unique piece Video H264, mp4, 3840,2160px, 30fps “~#_gloss” is made of overlapping digital gestures in a morphing color field. I explore the boundaries of material, gesture, and color by treating light and pixels as fluid mediums in the context of my studio painting practice. It is my goal to slow down the expected experience of the virtual, and speed up perception in painting space, while activating each in novel ways.
