“Badkube” transforms Baku's gust patterns data into flux generative art paintings inspired by the ancient Azerbaijani wind myth “Gilavar & Khazri - Struggle of Good and Evil”. Cold and rough Khazri is associated with negativeness, and Mild and gentle Gilavar is associated with goodness forming an important chain in Azerbaijani mythology and beliefs that are related to the struggle between Good and Evil.
"Badkube : Gilavar" explores the paradox of soft gentle wind blowing from the Caspian sea to the site in the harsh cold of winter and explores the phenomenon of high speed winds in short bursts and the constant unseen poetic dance between the forces of nature and the built environment.
