Hades is the god of the dead and the king of the underworld in ancient Greek religion. Zeus and Poseidon, his brothers, defeated their father's generation of gods, the Titans, and took control of the cosmos. After defeating the elder gods in a ten-year divine war, Hades and his two brothers drew lots to determine which realms they would rule. Zeus received the sky, Poseidon the seas, and Hades the underworld, the unseen realm to which the souls of the dead travel when they die.
They say to live a full life, you must fill your days with adventures under the sun. However, I believe that the most interesting events take place in the dead of night.
