Blot II

Blót refers to a Norse (and modern Heathen) ceremonial offering. The series explores the mysticism behind a ritual, particularly a (human) sacrifice. It is largely inspired by the tale of Odin, who hung himself on a branch of Yggdrasil, and suffered for nine days and nights, thus gaining the knowledge of the runes - an ultimate sacrifice of oneself to oneself.
