Indoor Excitement

I painted this right before the Covid pandemic started. As premonition, I reflected on how overrated the outdoors is and how some people, including myself, feel so relaxed indoors with the incredible technology we have available. An introvert's dream. I wanted to represent that! The image is not ideal, there is mystery and misery that comes with it. Nothing is perfect. Ikea blanket, a cockroach and bad architecture lurking near, all wrapped in a candylike pattern. A couple of months after finishing this painting the lockdown came and for me, it was confirmed, I had a great time in isolation. Could do this forever. Indoor Excitement - Oil on linen and digital.
