UnderLïed#3

UnderLïed#3 is the third in a series of three artworks about rewriting, censorship and lie. We call these artworks I(Anaïs) ⤖ UnderLïed#1 ⥅ UnderLïed#2 ⥅ UnderLïed#3. Anaïs is a textile artwork created by dismembering an underlined copy the IV diary of Anaïs Nin, then sewing lines on the pages just by raw instinct, and finally tearing apart part of the pages along the stitches. Deconstructing the narrative is rewriting a new one, a lie. An image of this artwork encounters a sequence of digital elaborations (⥅), where each step becomes an independent artwork in a series of three. UnderLïed#3 is the result of the third elaboration.
