Manhattan Project: Episode I

The first episode of my "Manhattan Project" was inspired by my love for New York and my home in Manhattan Beach, CA. I wanted to know what it would feel like to be in both places at the same time. While creating this piece, I visualized coming out of the Park Ave Tunnel at E. 40th Street and instead of the MetLife Building, you're met with the warm West Coast light and the Manhattan Beach Pier in California. After making Episode I, I was inspired to explore both cities and find more opportunities to tell this story.
