Quai des Etoiles #2

Quai des Etoiles means in french: Star Dock. While my main theme remains science fiction, and most of he time anything related to space, I like also sometimes to explore the human element connected to it. In this series I wanted to try to depict our connection and longing for the stars on one side while on the other side, we are also connected and still deeply dependent on our planet Earth. Karl Sagan quite well described this duality : "The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff" but also that "it is our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
